Profilée is the last and most exclusive Bugatti Chiron to be sold
Bugatti launched the Chiron Pur Sport in 2020 as the most extreme version of the street-approved hypercar. As a less radical reinterpretation of the car, the Bugatti Chiron Profilée was born, which never reached production and whose only unit will be auctioned as a one-off.
The house in charge of such an honor will be the well-known RM Sotheby’s, specializing in the sale of renowned classic and sports cars. With this, the brand intends to allow anyone to purchase this luxury vehicle (anyone with a few million in their pocket), to allocate part of the profits to charitable causes.

The question that arises first: Is it a new Bugatti? No, it is not. It was born from an original idea to create an intermediate car between the Bugatti Chiron and its Pur Sport version, but it never materialized as such.
“Taking customers’ wishes to explore a less radical version of the Chiron Pur Sport to heart, we began to design and development of the Chiron Profilée in autumn 2020,” said Christophe Piochon , President of Bugatti Automobiles.
“When we saw the prototype series coming out of production, all 500 Chiron units were allocated. But we knew that what we had created was too beautiful to hide. It is, in every way, a unique piece in Bugatti history and a true collector’s item,” he continued.
At the design level, the main change is at the rear. The Pur Sport’s massive wing has been replaced with a smaller, dovetail-shaped wing. The engine cover has also been modified, adding gills just below the suspended shark fin.
These modifications are given by a limited maximum speed of 380 km/h, which does not require such radical downforce as its older brothers, capable of exceeding 400 km/h.
Wider side grills and a slightly larger central horseshoe grill have been placed at the front to cool the internal liquid radiators of the engine. Except for a few more aerodynamic details, the rest of the car is virtually identical to the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport.
Its 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine develops 1,500 PS with a 15% shorter gear ratio than the Chiron Sport. In short, this Profilée can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 5.5 seconds.
On the outside, it wears a unique Argent Atlantique color for this car, which is combined with carbon fiber components or tinted in the Bleu Royal Carbon color together with Le Patron tones and polished aluminum in areas such as the grille.
The interior, despite being standard for the model, is the only one in a Chiron that uses woven leather in the cabin. Dashboard, door panels, and center console are cast in this material during work that has used 2,500 meters of leather strips to create this complex finish together with Rafale Gray and Deep Blue tones.
